Clear skies and sunshine, the air is as crisp as a freshly picked apple- it’s a perfect fall day, spend it along the scenic shores of Lake Ontario. The 28th Annual Apple Tasting Tour kicks off on Wednesday October 1st, 2025. Collect all your sweets, treats and Apple Jumble letters from each stop throughout the entire month of October.

Explore all things APPLES during the Signature Tasting Weekend, October 10th – 13th! Each tour stop offers delicious apple themed tastings throughout these special dates. A jam-packed weekend with bushels of family-friendly fun!

Start your day by stopping in to The Apple Farm Stand for an apple cider fried cake and some fresh apple cider. Then head out into the orchard for U Pick apples, don’t forget to snap some photos while you’re out there! Stock up on their delicious baked goods to enjoy with your friends and family.

Next head into Sodus Point to discover Youngman Orchards Farm Market! Growing since 1922, Youngman has a great line up of fruits, veggies, local meats, dairy- products, seasonal goods and so much more! Grab a treat from their on-site bakery to enjoy on their outdoor patio.

Time for lunch? Swing on over to Burnap’s Farm Market & Garden Café to enjoy a delicious farm-to-table meal. Pick up fresh homegrown fruits, vegetables, and breathtaking mums. Burnap’s is a great stop for the kids with a large play area, goats and chickens to add to the experience. (Closes for the season on October 14, 2025)

Take a quick break and head east down Lake road to B. Forman Park to experience the endless unobstructed views of Lake Ontario. Walk along the shoreline, skip a couple rocks and if you have kids joining you, they’ll love the playgrounds!

Jump back in the car and head off to Orbaker’s Farm Market, with five generations of farming experience they grow the sweetest, juiciest fruits with little to no interference from pesticides. A perfect stop for a foodie to gather the ingredients needed to create your very own farm-to-table meal that your family will love.

Now make your way over to Young Sommer Winery, known for their authentic and award-winning German wines. They specialize in grape and fruit wines that embody the micro-climate around Lake Ontario’s shores. Their Senshu Apple Wine is considered the “Riesling” of apple wines, it’s delicious. As they say “Come as a guest, leave as family”.

Take the short drive to Lagoner Farm Market who have been supplying fresh homegrown produce for over 100 years. Indulge your sweet tooth with a treat from their bakery, or enjoy one of their homemade soups, salads, wraps or subs from their farm kitchen. Step out into the fresh fall air for U Pick apples in their orchards. Home of Embark Craft Ciderworks where they produce cider crafted from local apples, and not much else. Their ciders are a taste of something new and a blast from the country’s past.

Before picking your spot for dinner, stop in and check out Silver Waters Winery. Where they use a blend of traditional family methods and modern wine making science in producing their magnificent wines made from fresh local fruits grown by their neighbors.

End your day with a delightful dinner from The Saltbox Smokehouse, offering over 15 varieties of bacon smoked in-house. Savor an entrée from their dinner menu or order bacon by the slice to try them all!

Not feeling BBQ? Head over to The Bay Street Restaurant located right in Sodus Point. This fine dining establishment with a Key West flair is known for their extensive Martini Bar. With over 180 martinis to choose from, there is something for everyone (21+ of course) to fancy.
